Ingredients
2cupsfigs
1tbsplemon juicefreshly squeezed
fig soaking water
Instructions
Remove figs from the water and chop them into pieces for easy blending. Keep the fig soaking water aside.
Add figs into a blender with lemon juice and 2 tablespoons of fig soaking water**
Blend until desired consistency is reached.
Store in the refrigerator for several weeks***
Notes
*Soak dry figs in filtered or spring water for 4 hours.**If you have difficulties blending you can add water that remains after soaking 1 tbsp at a time;***For longer storage you can freeze it for up to 3 monthsPrep time doesn’t include soaking time (4 hours).
