Time… it doesn’t tick, it drifts… and here it just flows. What matters to me are the seconds, not the months or years. Because here, there’s enough time for everything. Enough for all my dreams…sized just right to match horizons…

I Don’t Count the Years

I don’t count the years, the months, the days,
but the seconds that breathe, the whispers they say.
Here, time’s not a thief, not a hurried hand,
but a friend that lingers, helps me understand.

Feel the seconds, heavy, raw,
in a laugh, a tear, a moment’s awe.
Not in the rush,
                      the race,
                                 the climb,
but in the quiet,
                       the pause,
                                      the time.

Each second—a heartbeat, a fragile gift,
not to be wasted, not to be missed.
In the touch of a hand, in the glance of an eye,
in the stories shared, in the deep sigh.

Time here is not measured in gold,
but in love, in life, in stories told.
In the seconds that stretch,
                                         that bend,
                                                       that break,
in the breaths we take,
                                  in the steps we make.

I live in these seconds, raw and real,
in moments that hurt, in moments that heal.
Because here, in the drift, I find my place,
in the rough, in the tender, in time’s gentle embrace.

****

Time drifts,
like a a lazy river, no rushing clock,
just moments, hanging heavy
like morning fog over a quiet town.

It’s the seconds that matter,
the breath between heartbeats,
where dreams have room to stretch,
where hopes linger like the scent of rain.

Here, time is a slow dance,
barefoot on the kitchen floor,
the quiet hum of a Sunday morning,
where the future doesn’t rush at you
like a freight train,
but whispers, gently,
like a lover waking you from a dream.

We don’t measure time in years or months,
but in the way your fingers brush my cheek,
in the pauses between words,
in the weight of a shared silence.

Every second is a lifetime,
a chance to breathe, to feel,
to let the moment seep into your bones,
like warmth from a fire on a cold night.

It’s in the mundane,
the everyday sacred,
where time wraps around us,
soft and unyielding,
giving space for our scars to breathe,
for our dreams to find their voice.

Let me live in these seconds,
where time is an old friend,
where every breath is a gift,
where every heartbeat tells a story.

Because here, in the drift,
is where I find you,
in the unspoken, the unseen,
in the raw and the real,
in the seconds that hold the world.

Timeless Shore

Beside the boundless ocean…..
Time doesn’t tick here, it drifts,
loose and light, like a feather on the breeze.
What grips my heart aren’t the big markers,
the years or the milestones that everyone counts—
No, it’s the seconds that snare me, the fleeting beats
where life’s fully lived.

Here, in this place, time’s a generous flow,
a river that bends and curves, no rush to touch the ocean floor.
There’s room—so much room—for every little dream,
for every whisper of a thought that might grow into more.

Seconds stack up like breaths, easy and unforced,
each one a moment to hold,
not in a hurry, not looking to fill empty spaces
with noise and clutter.
Here, we live in the pauses, in the spaces between,
in moments that stretch just enough to hold our full attention.

And here, I find enough.
Enough time to chase the dreams,
enough to watch them grow, to let them breathe,
enough to live—not just survive.
