The thing about Ash gourd juice that sounded too good to be true is that it gives you quite a bit of energy. But not like coffee, which jolts you with jittery, agitated energy, ash gourd provides you with a lot of energy and keeps you calm and stable. Maybe that is why it is becoming so popular among those who are practicing yoga and meditation.
So when I discovered all these beautiful things about Ash gourd, I had to see it for myself. I found Ashgourd in the local Indian grocery store, fell in love with it, and have had it in my kitchen ever since.
Ash gourd is filled with life energy and is cooling by nature. It is very neutral in taste, so it can be juiced in combination with a wide variety of fruits and vegetables.
Whether to have Ash gourd juice alone or combine it with cooling or heating fruits or vegetables depends on the time of the year, your constitution, and your current health condition.

Making Ash gourd juice is very simple. Because Ash gourd is 96% liquid, juice extracts very easily. You can juice it using a juicer or a blender.
If you don’t have a juicer, you can add all ingredients into a blender (no water needed).
